Closure of Inoperative ICICI Bank Savings Account XXXXXXXX2888
Dear Mr/Mrs SHAILESH LALASING PAWARA,
Please refer to our earlier SMS/e-mail communication dated 14.08.2024 regarding the closure of your ICICI Bank Savings Account XXXXXXXX2888, due to lack of transactions for more than 12 months. Please activate, transact and begin using your Savings Account within 30 days from the date of the above-mentioned notice.Please arrange for the cancellation of any Electronic Clearance Services (ECS) or National Automated Clearing House (NACH) mandate or Standing Instructions (SI) linked to the Savings Account and physically destroy your Debit-cum-ATM Card and/or any unused cheque leaves in your possession. Any cheque(s) issued against the Savings Account on or after the Account Closure Date will be returned with the reason 'Account Closed",
ICICI Bank will not be liable or responsible for any direct, indirect, special, exemplary losses or damages that you may incur, because of non-credit of any amount/dishonour of any cheque or defauit of ECS/SI/NACH mandate after the Account Closure Date.
ICICI Bank further reserves the right to debit the Savings Account for any amount payable. For any outstanding balance in the Account up to 500, a Demand Draft (if applicable), can be collected from your base branch. If the Account balance is above ₹ 500, the DD will be sent to the communication address updated with ICICI Bank. In the case of multiple Accounts, the closure proceeds may be transferred to any of your other Accounts.
You can avail the digital transfer of the closure proceeds by sending a scanned copy of the duly filled and signed Account Closure Form along with a self-attested copy of a valid identity proof# to closureproceed@icicibank.com. The closure of your relationship with ICICI Bank will not affect your liabilities and obligations towards the Bank. You will be liable for satisfactory completion of all the transactions conducted prior to the Account Closure Date.
